Jan. 18 (Bloomberg) -- Undergraduate applications to the University of Pennsylvania for the 2013-2014 academic year increased by a single submission compared with a year ago.
The Ivy League school in Philadelphia received 31,219 applications, according to preliminary numbers, Eric Furda, dean of undergraduate admissions, said in an e-mail. Last year, the school got 31,218 applications.
