Jan. 16 (Bloomberg) -- The University of Wisconsin upset second-ranked Indiana University 64-59 to remain undefeated in college basketball’s Big Ten Conference.
Wisconsin improved to 13-4 overall and 4-0 in the Big Ten. The Hoosiers fell to 15-2 and 3-1 in the conference.
Ryan Evans scored 13 points, Traevon Jackson had 11 and Mike Bruesewitz added 10 points for the Badgers last night at Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Indiana.
Wisconsin trailed 32-31 at halftime and outscored Indiana 33-27 in the second half to stay atop the Big Ten, ahead of second-place Michigan (16-1, 3-1). The Hoosiers are third in the 12-team conference.
Cody Zeller tallied 23 points and 10 rebounds, Christian Watford had 11 points and Victor Oladipo scored 10 points for Wisconsin.
