Jan. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Algeria closed its border with Mali and has informed the Mali government of its decision, state run APS news agency reported today, citing Amar Belani, spokesman for Algeria’s Foreign Ministry
The decision came at the end of a two day visit to Algeria by Mali’s Prime Minister Diango Cissoko.
Discussions on the situation in the region allowed both sides to reach a convergence of views on issues related to the crisis in Mali, the news service cited Belani as saying.
