Jan. 13 (Bloomberg) -- South Africa’s Louis Oosthuizen scored a final-round 6-under-par 66 to win the Volvo Golf Champions event as Scott Jamieson lost a five-shot lead.
Oosthuizen, British Open champion in 2010, finished on 16-under par in Durban today. Jamieson was second on 15-under and Thongchai Jaidee of Thailand third, a shot further back. Irishman Padraig Harrington was fourth on 12-under.
Jamieson was five shots clear before a double-bogey on the fifth hole today. Meanwhile Oosthuizen had seven final-round birdies and a bogey as he overhauled the Scot.
The 30-year-old picked up a prize of 350,000 euros ($467,000). His sixth European Tour win takes him to fourth in the Official World Golf Ranking.
