NHL Ends Lockout, Schedules 720-Game Season to Begin Jan. 19

Jan. 12 (Bloomberg) -- The National Hockey League and the players’ union today agreed to terms of a 10-year Collective Bargaining Agreement to end the season’s lockout.

Training camps will open tomorrow with the 720-game regular-season schedule to begin Jan. 19, the league said in a statement. Each team will play 48 games.
