Japan to Set Up Fund to Spur Clean Energy Investment, NHK Says

Jan. 11 (Bloomberg) -- Japan’s environment ministry will set up a fund to promote clean energy, public broadcaster NHK said today, citing environment minister Nobuteru Ishihara.

The ministry plans to solicit investment from the private sector into companies and organizations in renewable-energy industries such as wind and biomass to tackle climate change, according to NHK.
