Brooklyn Nets Defeat Philadelphia 76ers for 4th Straight NBA Win

Jan. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Deron Williams scored 22 points and the Brooklyn Nets beat the Philadelphia 76ers 109-89 for their fourth straight win in the National Basketball Association.

Andray Blatche added 20 points and Reggie Evans had 23 rebounds last night for the Nets (20-15) at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Jrue Holiday had 19 points to lead the 76ers (15-21).

Brooklyn has won six of seven games since P.J. Carlesimo took over as interim coach after Avery Johnson was fired Dec. 27. The Nets are 3 1/2 games behind the first-place New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference’s Atlantic division.
