Jan. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Meditrade, an Egyptian private commodity trader, bought 20,000 metric tons of sunflower oil and 21,000 tons of soybean oil today, two traders involved in the tender said.
The Cairo-based company purchased the sunflower oil at $1,182 a ton from Glencore International Plc and the soybean oil at 7,615 Egyptian pounds ($1,175) a ton from Wataneya, said the traders, who spoke on condition of anonymity because they aren’t authorized to speak to the media. The vegetable oil is for arrival from Feb. 1 to Feb. 21, the traders said.
