Dec. 30 (Bloomberg) -- The U.K.’s governing Conservative Party is trailing the Labour Party by 10 points, according to a Opinium/Observer poll, the Observer reported.
The Conservatives were supported by 29 percent, while Labour had the support of 39 percent. The Liberal Democrats were supported by 8 percent and UKIP had 15 percent backing, the Observer said.
The poll also showed that 42 percent of adults expected their finances to get worse in the next 12 months, while 19 percent expected them to improve, the newspaper said. People over 55 were the most pessimistic, the Observer said.
