Dec. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Sberbank Europe AG, the Russian lender’s unit active in eastern Europe, appointed Mark Arnold new chief executive officer as Friedhelm Boschert steps down.
Arnold, the CEO of Thai lender Bank of Ayudhya Pcl, will take on his job Feb. 12 pending all necessary approvals, Vienna-based Sberbank Europe said in the e-mailed statement. Boschert, who led the business then known as Volksbanken International before Sberbank bought it last year, will step down Jan. 31, Sberbank said.
