Chelsea is close to signing 18-year-old Partizan Belgrade midfielder Lazar Markovic for 8 million pounds ($12.8 million), the Daily Mail reported.
Markovic has six goals in 12 games for Partizan, which wants the fee to rise to as much as 14 million pounds if the teenager meets appearance targets, the Mail said.
Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini “flew into a dressing-room rage” after his team lost to Manchester United on an injury-time goal yesterday, the Sun reported.
Mancini criticized goalkeeper Joe Hart as well as Mario Balotelli, Carlos Tevez and Samir Nasri, the Sun added.
Thierry Henry could start his third stint as an Arsenal player in an F.A. Cup game against Swansea on Jan. 6, the Daily Mail reported.
