Dec. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Swiss consumer prices are expected to rise less than previously forecast next year, according to the statistics office.

Inflation is seen rising 0.2 in 2013, down from a September prediction of 0.5 percent, the Federal Statistics Office in Neuchatel, Switzerland, said today on its website. Annual consumer prices are expected to fall 0.7 percent this year, compared to a previous forecast of a 0.5 percent decline, it said.

For 2014 inflation is expected to rise 0.2 percent, the statistics office said in its first forecast for that year.
