Dec. 2 (Bloomberg) -- General Electric Co. will receive an order for wind turbines valued at 820 million reais ($383 million) from Brazil’s Renova Energia SA power company, Folha de Sao Paulo reported, without saying where it got the information.
The deal is for 230 turbines to be delivered to Renova’s wind farm in southwestern Bahia state and will be announced tomorrow, the newspaper said.
GE didn’t immediately return an e-mail seeking comment and attempts to reach the company by telephone were unsuccessful.
