Arsenal Chairman Peter Hill-Wood Suffers Heart Attack, Club Says

Arsenal Chairman Peter Hill-Wood has suffered a heart attack and is now making “a good recovery” in the hospital, the Premier League soccer club said in a statement.

“Peter was taken ill at home on Friday and is currently being treated in hospital,” Arsenal said on its website. “The Club wishes Peter a full and speedy return to health.”

The 76-year-old has recently had a bout of pneumonia, the club said.

Hill-Wood has been on the board since 1962, and took over as chairman in 1982 after the death of his father.
