Nov. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Japanese investors were net buyers of foreign bonds during the week ended Nov. 23 according to figures based on reports from designated major investors released by the Ministry of Finance in Tokyo.
Japanese investors bought 115.3 billion yen ($1.4 billion) in overseas bonds and notes, sold 19.8 billion yen in overseas stocks and sold 69.4 billion yen in overseas short term securities. That results in a total net purchase of 26.1 billion yen.
Foreign investors sold 51.2 billion yen in Japanese bonds, bought 275.6 billion yen in stocks, and sold 1578.6 billion yen in short term securities, resulting in a total net sale 1354.1 billion yen.
