East Libya Security Chief Assassinated by Gunmen, LNA Says

Nov. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Armed assailants shot dead the security chief of the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi, the Libya News Agency reported.

Three armed men in a vehicle opened fire on Colonel Faraj Dersi last night and fled the scene, Seraj Sheik, a senior official at the local security directorate, told the Tripoli-based news agency. Faraj died before arriving at hospital, the agency said.
