Nov. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Rian Lindell kicked four field goals as the Buffalo Bills defeated the Miami Dolphins 19-14 in the National Football League.
Leodis McKelvin scored Buffalo’s first touchdown on a 79-yard punt return and Lindell added two field goals as Buffalo took a 13-7 first-quarter lead. Miami scored on a 96-yard kickoff return by Marcus Thigpen.
Lindell kicked field goals of 42 and 19 yards in the second quarter as the Bills built their lead to 19-7 at halftime on their home field at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
Ryan Tannehill found Davone Bess with a 2-yard scoring pass in the fourth quarter for the Dolphins, the only offensive touchdown in the game.
Tannehill connected on 14 of 28 passing attempts for 141 yards, with two interceptions. Bills quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 17 of 27 passes for 168 yards.
Both teams are now 4-6 in the American Football Conference East division, behind the New England Patriots (6-3) and ahead of the New York Jets (3-6).
