Nov. 14 (Bloomberg) -- Carmelo Anthony scored 25 points to lead the New York Knicks to their fifth straight win this season, 99-89 over the Orlando Magic.

The Knicks (5-0) are off to their best start to the National Basketball Association season since they began 1993-94 with seven wins.

Raymond Felton and J.R. Smith scored 21 points apiece for the Knicks, who rallied from a 53-49 halftime deficit at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

J.J. Redick scored 18 points and Arron Afflalo had 13 for the Magic (2-5).

The Magic turned over the ball 20 times, which the Knicks converted into 24 points. Orlando scored seven points from nine New York turnovers.
