U.S. 10-Year Note Yield Drops to 1.596%, Lowest Since Sept. 7

U.S. 10-year notes advanced, pushing the yield on the securities to the lowest in more than two months.

The rate dropped as much as two basis points to 1.596 percent, the lowest since Sept. 7, and was at 1.60 percent as of 10:35 a.m. London time.
