Nov. 9 (Bloomberg) -- European coal for next-year delivery advanced, heading for its biggest weekly gain in nine months.
Thermal coal for delivery in 2013 to Amsterdam, Rotterdam or Antwerp added 0.3 percent to $95.50 a metric ton at 3:30 p.m. in London, according to broker data compiled by Bloomberg. The contract is set to add 2.1 percent this week, the most since the seven days to Jan. 27.
