Nov. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Japanese investors were net buyers of foreign bonds during the week ended Nov. 2 according to figures based on reports from designated major investors released by the Ministry of Finance in Tokyo.
Japanese investors bought 56 billion yen ($700.5 million) in overseas bonds and notes, sold 16.8 billion yen in overseas stocks and sold 28.2 billion yen in overseas short term securities. That results in a total net purchase of 11 billion yen.
Foreign investors bought 93.8 billion yen in Japanese bonds, sold 27.7 billion yen in stocks, and sold 0.3 billion yen in short term securities, resulting in a total net purchase of 65.8 billion yen.
