China Guangdong May Invest in Romania’s New Reactors, Bursa Says

China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group may invest in Romania’s project to build two additional nuclear reactors at its Cernavoda plant, near the Black Sea, Bursa newspaper reported today.

The Chinese company may provide about 40 percent of the needed investments in the reactors by supplying electrical and electronic equipment, the Bucharest-based newspaper said, citing Rodin Traicu, a deputy economy minister.
