Oct. 28 (Bloomberg) -- The New York Giants defeated the Dallas Cowboys 29-24 after the Miami Dolphins handed the Jets a 30-9 mauling at home in the National Football League.
The Giants lead the National Football Conference East Division with a 6-2 record over the Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles, who both have 3-4 marks. The Washington Redskins are last, at 3-5. The Eagles lost 30-17 to the Atlanta Falcons and the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Redskins 27-12.
The Giants have now won four consecutive games and are unbeaten in five visits to Dallas. The result avenges a 24-17 opening-week loss at home to the Cowboys.
Tonight, the New Orleans Saints visit the Denver Broncos.
