Oct. 27 (Bloomberg) -- Brazilian billionaire Jorge Paulo Lemann raised $3 billion to make an acquisition in the U.S., Veja reported in its Radar column, without saying where it got the information.
Lemann and his partners Marcel Herrmann Telles and Carlos Alberto da Veiga Sicupira are contributing $600 million, the Sao Paulo-based magazine said. Brazil’s Eike Batista is also among the other investors, according to Veja.
