Oct. 24 (Bloomberg) -- EDF Renewable Energy, a U.S. unit of French utility Electricite de France SA, said Japanese trading company Marubeni Corp. bought a 50 percent interest in its Lakefield wind farm in the Midwest U.S.
The 205.5-megawatt facility in Jackson County, Minnesota, began producing electricity in 2011, and Indianapolis Power & Light Co. buys its output under a 20-year power purchase agreement, EDF Renewable Energy said today in a statement. Terms of the investment weren’t disclosed.
