Oct. 9 (Bloomberg) -- Ukraine’s grain exports reached 6 million metric tons since the marketing year that began July 1, UkrAgroConsult said, citing the Agriculture Ministry.
Wheat exports were 3 million tons, including 2.4 million tons of milling quality, the Kiev-based researcher said today in an e-mailed note.
The country shipped 1.33 million tons of barley and 1.54 million tons of corn, the note showed.
Syria purchased 100,000 tons of Ukrainian wheat in a tender that closed Oct. 1, the researcher said, citing traders.
