Oct. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Suntech Power Holdings Co., the world’s biggest maker of solar panels, signed a contract to supply 39 megawatts of the devices to EDP Renovaveis SA as the company expands in Eastern Europe.
The panels will power four solar plants being built in Romania to be connected from late 2012 to early 2013, Suntech said today in an e-mailed statement. No price was given.
