Oct. 4 (Bloomberg) -- Romanian utilities are seeking bids to upgrade water and sewage infrastructure in the south of the country for contracts valued at 180.5 million lei ($51 million).
Hidro Prahova SA is waiting for bids until Nov. 27 to award a 74.5 million-lei contract to extend the sewer network in Banesti, Campina and Valenii de Munte, according to a European Union procurement document published today. Bidders can also submit offers until Nov. 26 for a contract valued at 82.4 million lei to upgrade the sewage system in Baicoi, Plopeni and Urlati, another Hidro Prahova document showed.
Apa Service SA, a water utility from Giurgiu county, is seeking bids until Dec. 3 to expand and upgrade water and sewage coverage in Bolintin Vale in a 23.6 million-lei contract, a EU procurement document also showed.
