Sept. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Ukraine’s exports of barley declined 35 percent to 508,400 metric tons since the marketing year started on July 1 compared with a year earlier, the lowest level in five years, UkrAgroConsult said.
The total compared with 784,200 tons shipped in the same period last year, the Kiev-based agriculture researcher said today in e-mailed statement.
Saudi Arabia was the main importer of Ukrainian barley, buying 80 percent of all the shipments.
