Sept. 26 (Bloomberg) -- Romania’s budget deficit amounted to 7.11 billion lei ($2.03 billion), or 1.17 percent of gross domestic product, at the end of August, the Bucharest-based Finance Ministry said in a statement on its website today.
The January-July shortfall was 1.15 percent of GDP.
