Sept. 24 (Bloomberg) -- KfW Group, Germany’s state-owned development bank, provided financing for a 52.9-megawatt wind farm in Taiwan to be supplied by German turbine manufacturer Enercon GmbH.
KfW’s IPEX export bank provided 66.8 million euros ($86 million) in loans to the Tongyuan wind farm on the country’s west coast, the bank said today in an e-mailed statement. Total investment for the project, which is being developed by InfraVest GmbH and WPD AG and is to start operating in 2015, is 81.5 million euros, KfW Ipex said.
