Sept. 21 (Bloomberg) -- British American Tobacco Plc, Europe’s largest cigarette maker, plans to invest about 40 million euros ($52 million) in expanding a production unit in Romania, Bursa newspaper reported.
BAT started works at the unit to boost the production capacity by about 20 percent, the Bucharest-based newspaper said, citing a company statement. The factory is located in the southern Romania city of Ploiesti.
