Sept. 19 (Bloomberg) -- Odebrecht SA won a $500 million contract to improve a network of highways in and around the Peruvian capital Lima.
The Salvador, Brazil-based company will improve 115 kilometers (72 miles) of the Pan-American and central Andean highways, and build 36 interchanges as well as pedestrian crossings and pavements, the city said in a statement on its website. Work will start next year and terminate in 2015, it said.
