Sept. 12 (Bloomberg) -- At least seven people were killed, eight injured and five remain missing after a five-story building collapsed today in the district of Shubra in the Egyptian capital Cairo, state-run Ahram gate reported today.
Several such incidents in Egypt have been caused by building violations and bad maintenance. Nine people were killed in July when an 11-story building in Alexandria collapsed.
