Public Power to Get EU32.9 Mln for Depa Option, Kathimerini Says

Sept. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Public Power Corp. SA will receive 32.9 million euros ($42.3 million) compensation for waiving its option to buy as much as 30 percent of state gas supplier Depa SA, Kathimerini reported.

Public Power also reached agreement with Depa on a new gas supply contract, to run until 2020, and Depa will pay the company 94 million euros by the end of February in settlement of outstanding debts, the newspaper said, without citing anyone.
