Azarenka Reaches U.S. Open Final With Victory Against Sharapova

Sept. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Top-seeded Victoria Azarenka of Belarus moved into the U.S. Open women’s final with a 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 defeat of 2006 champion Maria Sharapova of Russia in a mistake-filled semifinal today.

Azarenka will face three-time champion Serena Williams of the U.S. or first-time semifinalist Sara Errani of Italy in tomorrow’s final.
