Sept. 6 (Bloomberg) -- Tamil Nadu Newsprint & Papers Ltd., an Indian paper maker, is seeking 300,000 metric tons of non-coking coal starting November this year.
The Chennai-based company has sought delivery of fuel imported from Indonesia, Australia, South Africa or China in six shipments of about 50,000 tons each at its Pugalur factory, according to the company’s tender document.
The company has sought coal with a gross calorific value of 6,000 kilocalories a kilogram, total moisture around 15 percent, ash content of maximum 8 percent and sulfur content not more than 0.8 percent. The last date of submission of bids is Sept. 20, according to the company.
