Aug. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Ukraine has won approval from the Russian-led Customs Union to supply 150,000 tons of steel pipes without tax from August through December, Kommersant-Ukraine reported, citing Economy Minister Petro Poroshenko.
Ukrainian pipe makers Interpipe and Centravis will be allowed to export without any levies, according to the newspaper. Other Ukrainian steel-pipe makers pay a duty of between 19.4 percent to 37.8 percent, Kommersant reported. The Customs Union includes Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus.
