Aug. 28 (Bloomberg) -- CarVal Investors LLC, an asset manager owned by Cargill Inc., said it appointed Greg Belonogoff and Joe Graf as senior managing directors.
Belonogoff, who began his career with CarVal in 1998, manages the Minneapolis-based firm’s corporate securities investments in the U.K., Europe and Scandinavia from London, focusing on restructurings and liquidations, according to an e-mailed statement.
Graf, based in New York, manages CarVal’s emerging markets credit business. He joined CarVal from Credit Suisse Group AG in 2006.
The firm’s CVI Credit Value Fund generated 16.3 percent of net returns in the first seven months of the year. The CVI Global Value Fund I and CVI Global Value Fund II charted 10.9 percent and 10.3 percent returns, according to CarVal, which manages more than $9 billion.
