Aug. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Dynamo Kiev, Celtic and CFR Cluj won on the road to hold the advantage in their Champions League playoff ties.
Kiev recovered after losing an early goal to win 3-1 at Borussia Monchengladbach, Celtic defeated Helsingborgs 2-0 and Cluj rallied with two goals in five minutes from Modou Sougou to win 2-1 at Basel.
Also tonight, Spartak Moscow won 2-1 against the visiting Fenerbahce and Copenhagen took a 1-0 lead in its tie against Lille, which will host the second leg.
The winners of the two-game series advance to the group phase of European soccer’s elite tournament. The return games will be played Aug. 29.
