Russia’s Ruble Strengthens Most in Two Weeks After Oil Advances

The ruble gained the most in more than two weeks against the dollar as oil, Russia’s chief export earner, advanced.

The currency strengthened 0.7 percent versus the dollar to 31.8410 at 1:36 p.m. in Moscow as Brent crude rallied 0.7 to $114.45 a barrel. The ruble gained 0.2 percent against the euro to 39.5124 and strengthened 0.4 percent against the central bank’s currency basket.
