Aug. 19 (Bloomberg) -- Aichatou Mindaoudou, acting head of the United Nations’ Mission in Darfur, is “saddened” after a delegation led by Sudan’s Minister of Guidance and Endowments Ghazi Al-Saddiq was killed in an air crash.
The crash, which also claimed the crew, happened near Talodi, in the district of South Kordofan, UNAMID said in a statement today.
“Ms. Mindaoudou offers her deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families of all victims and to the government and the people of Sudan,” UNAMID said in the statement.
