Aug. 17 (Bloomberg) -- The Dutch government is buying gasoline after it issued a tender to purchase about 200,000 metric tons of the product and diesel to fill new storage tanks, according to an official.
The call for supplies was issued and awarded from May to July, Bart Van Holk, managing director at the National Petroleum Stockpiling Agency, or COVA, said today by phone from Rotterdam. He declined to disclose exact volumes, the price or sellers. Deliveries are for the second half of the year.
