Aug. 8 (Bloomberg) -- Amadeus IT Holding SA fell as much as 6.9 percent in Madrid trading after International Consolidated Airlines Group SA hedged a 6.7 percent stake in the company.
Amadeus fell as low as 16.23 euros and traded down 4.9 percent at 16.58 euros at 10:23 a.m.
IAG hedged its stake at 16.50 euros per share it said in a regulatory filing today.
Nomura Holdings Inc., the sole counterparty in the derivatives transaction, sold 492 million euros ($609 million) in Amadeus shares today to hedge its position in the deal.
