Aug. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Petroliam Nasional Bhd.’s South African unit, Engen, will open another eight of its branded oil distribution centers in the region, Business Day reported, citing the company.
In addition to its franchises, known as The Oil Centre, the petroleum company will set up a further nine lubricant distribution centers this year under different names, the Johannesburg-based publication said. Engen already opened The Oil Centre, which distributes Engen- and Mobil-branded lubricants, in Zambia, Business Day said. Engen plans to become one of sub-Saharan Africa’s three biggest lubricant suppliers by 2016, it said.
