Aug. 1 (Bloomberg) -- Quebec Premier Jean Charest announced plans for provincial elections, according to a statement from his office.
Charest will visit Lieutenant-Governor Pierre Duchesne today to seek the dissolution of the province’s legislature in order to hold a vote, the statement said. It didn’t provide details on when the election would be held.
