July 30 (Bloomberg) -- LC Waikiki, Turkey’s biggest ready-to-wear retailer, aims to increase sales 29 percent to 3.75 billion liras ($2.1 billion) this year as it opens stores outside Turkey.
The retailer, owned by Taha Group of Turkey, plans to increase the number of its stores abroad to 200 by 2015 from 36 by entering new markets such as Georgia, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Morocco and Azerbaijan, the Istanbul-based company said in an e-mailed statement.
LC Waikiki, which plans to have 450 stores in Turkey by 2015 compared to 373 now, is the biggest retailer by sales, according to a survey by market researcher Ipsos KMG, it said.
