July 21 (Bloomberg) -- Hwange Colliery Ltd. of Zimbabwe said Managing Director Fred Moyo will resign with effect from September to pursue personal business interests.
Moyo has been with Hwange for more than 25 years and was appointed to his present post in July 2007, the company said in an e-mailed statement today.
Hwange exports coal to neighboring countries and India, and provides the commodity for Zimbabwe Power Corp., a unit of state-owned power utility Zesa Holdings (Pvt) Ltd.
