“About That $100 Million …” (Features, July 2-July 8) incorrectly suggested that New Jersey charter schools select applicants. They use a lottery system. In “The Race for Rangoon” (Features, July 9-July 15), we failed to note that the tourism figures cited for Thailand and Myanmar were extrapolated from government agencies; the “brisk business” attributed to Pepsi, Levi-Strauss, and others referred to manufacturing, not sales; Myanmar businesses other than the Strand Yangon hotel accept credit cards indirectly; we incorrectly identified Christian Oram’s early business as an Internet business instead of an entertainment company; Chevron was a partner, not operator, in the Yadana pipeline; and we erred in a geographic reference to civil unrest.
