July 17 (Bloomberg) -- Turkey’s benchmark ISE National 100 Index fell 0.3 percent to 62,472.82 at the close in Istanbul, breaking two days of gains.

Banvit Bandirma Vitaminli Yem Sanayii AS (BANVT TI), a Turkish poultry producer, climbed as much as 1.7 percent before paring gains to 0.7 percent at 4.12 liras after announcing it will set up a company in the United Arab Emirates to market its products in Gulf countries.
Goldas Kuyumculuk AS (GOLDS TI), a Turkish producer of gold and silver jewelry, rose 1.8 percent to 0.56 liras after saying its owner Yalinkaya Group started cooperation talks with London-based Delamore & Owl Group of Companies.
Mepet Metro Petrol & Tesisleri Sanayi & Ticaret AS (MEPET TI), a fuel retailer, rose the most in almost six weeks, gaining 3.7 percent to 1.67 liras after saying it plans a gas station, shopping mall, hotel and mosque project in Saudi Arabia with a partner.
